VETERAN SUICIDE and HOMELESSNESS in Northeast Florida:
FAITH, ACTION and ENCOURAGEMENT!
Provide homeless veterans and families an immediate living location.
Assign a mentor/Barnabas ("Son of Encouragement").
Triage needs and set meaningful, manageable, and measurable goals.
Contact partners (Stay Suites of America Orange Park, Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone, Florida, Changing homelessness, Mercy Auto Charitable Foundation Inc.).
Deliver food and necessities as needed.
Assist veterans to secure transportation, employment, and stable housing.
God is good and we love Him, love His church, love all people, and love where we live! If you want to help reduce veteran suicide and homelessness, PLEASE JOIN THE MISSION.
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." (Matthew 25:35-36)
Upcoming Events
Help make a difference in a Veteran, First Responder or an individuals life. Each individual we help is unique. A strength of Operation Barnabas is our ability to use this proven template and adjust, be flexible, to each individual or family. Our end state is to have the veteran/first responder back in control of his/her life, with hope to continue moving forward.
